If you broke up with someone you love before, I bet there is a sad moment you should get along with and I know it doesn’t ease at all. Maybe some of you will cry and cry again. Well, nothing is wrong with that, but should you spend all of your days to think about him in that miserable way? No right? OK, I have simple tips to move on after you had been broken-hearted.
1. Stop listening to a sad song
The broken heart, of course, will make your soul increasingly fragile, and it will get worse if you choose to hear mellow songs. You better listen to songs with full of spirit such as “learn to fly” (Foo Fighter) or some song by Panic! At the Disco, sounds pretty good… I bet it will burn your spirit.
It is a good idea to throw away all the things which may drive you to remember anything about him. Maybe you can put it away with tears (not because of him, but because it’s expensive!), but at least it will help you to stay away from the memory of him.
3. Share it to someone you trust
You can share all your sorrow to someone you trust, it could be your good friend or your family like your mum maybe. I believe they will have a wise opinion about your problem, and hopefully, you can feel so much better because at least you are not keeping it in your heart.
4. Don’t ever call him (not even once!)
I know you miss him, right? But please hang it up, it is easier for you to get through it by not calling him again. If you still keep his number on your phone book, I think you should change his name with “warning” or “be careful” or even further, delete it!
5. Retouching
Broke up with your man can be a good moment for you to retouch some parts of your look. I’m not talking about surgery or liposuction, but you can start it with your hairstyle. You can also change the way you dress up, and be more confident with that. You have to show to the world and to yourself that you are a strong woman even without him.
6. Shopping, shopping, and shopping
Many said that one way to forget about your sorrow is shopping. Well, I know this is a risky activity for your monthly budget, but if you can feel better with shopping, why not? It won’t hurt your heart, but it will sometimes hurt your wallet :D
7. Starting for an open relationship
Becoming a single person means you now have more time to spend with your friends, including your male-friends. Start to find their number or address - hunting season has just begun and it could be an opportunity to get another better relationship.
OK, what do you think? Well, surely it's not going to be that easy, but in the end, time is a powerful healer, you will get through it :)
