Men are simple. In the immortal words of Chris Rock, “men want three things: food, s*x, and silence.” As we all know, men are visual creatures and what better way to keep his eyes glued to his woman than to have her wearing sexy lingerie. Now, not all men are the same and not every man will agree that coming home to their woman wearing little more than underwear is a turn on. They will say lingerie is a waste of money, but I say there’s more to lingerie than just the cost. Men like to know that they are wanted and appreciated just as much as a woman.


The main reason most men love lingerie is that there is no better sign that their woman is in the mood for s*x than by showing off her assets in a sexy negligee. But not in every case does the woman have to be wearing lingerie in order to cause arousal in her mate. One idea is to pack his lunch and simply leave a pair of sexy panties attached with a note stating he gets dessert when he gets home. Another idea is to have a scavenger hunt with sexy clues. These are just a couple of non-visual ways of causing anticipation.


But as I said in the beginning, men are visual creatures. Normally, the man comes home and finds his woman lying in bed dressed in her finest lingerie. He undresses in two seconds, and the lovemaking begins. 


Now how about building a little anticipation? The woman can try to surprise him by serving dinner wearing nothing but a nice teddy. Now, of course, he is going to want to jump her bones right away, but make him wait. Tantalize him with the fact that he has to eat his dinner while taking in the sight of a semi-nude woman just across the table. As you can see, the lingerie is the added ingredient to the dinner but changes his entire outlook on the meal.


Some like to be adventurous and use lingerie as a spicy way to add to an evening out. Imagine the woman suggests eating out because she is too tired to cook. She meets him at the restaurant and after ordering their drinks, she lets him in on a little secret. She unbuttons her spring jacket to expose her mesh camisole. That scene would bring a smile to any man. She might even leave the jacket unbuttoned throughout the dinner to add to the adventure. The same idea can work in other settings like the movie theater.


When looking to add a little shock value, it is important for a woman to know their significant other’s limits. For some men, it is a turn-on for their woman to be drooled over by other men but might instill jealousy in others. If he is of the first type, then he won’t mind the next scenario. The woman suggests to her man that the next time he wants to watch the game with his friends that she will cater to them. Of course, he doesn’t know she will be wearing a cute cheerleader outfit throughout the party. If she is even more scandalous than the woman might even try wearing some lingerie while spending the night on the town with her man.


These are just a few ways that women can help keep a relationship fresh. Most men enjoy spontaneity and to feel appreciated just as much as a women. Obviously, eating right and exercising help with the presentation so if the man expects the woman to remain her sexy self than he shouldn’t mind helping make time for her to work on herself either by helping around the house or assisting with the children. Lingerie is a great idea for both parties in a relationship.
